Supervisor, truck drivers

Job Overview

Full‑time permanent job – $36.60 to $38.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 hours per week. Starts as soon as possible. The work must be completed at the physical location – no remote option.

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience:

2 years to less than 3 years.

Work setting:
Supervision, Dispatching, Office, Transportation.

• Prepare production and other reports
• Supervise workers and projects
• Recommend personnel actions
• Ensure transport compliance with regulations
• Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Hire and train stff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Operate dispatch systems
• Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Ensure safety procedures are followed

Supervision: 5-10 people, Delivery drivers, Truck drivers

Credentials:
Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2‑axle vehicles)

Experience and specialization:
Computer and technology knowledge, MS Excel, MS Office.

Area of work experience:
Fleet management.
