Field Service Technician

Overview

Experienced Field Service Technician (Level 2 or higher).

Location:

Vancouver, Lower Mainland, BC. Travel:
Up to 50% (Canada & US). This hands-on role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of LV/MV switch gear and related equipment for industrial projects and data centers.

• Install, modify, and commission electrical components and subassemblies (panel boards, circuit breakers, bus bars, switch gear, control wiring).
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and field modifications.
• Support project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and technical managers.
• Provide technical product support and report field issues to ensure timely resolutions.

• Technical diploma/degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, industrial equipment, data centers, or similar field service roles.
• Hands-on commissioning experience with LV/MV electrical switch gear (required for Level
  3).
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Independent, self-motivated, and strong communicator.
• Willingness to travel (up to 75%), including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Military experience considered an asset.
