Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute full-spectrum renovation work (including framing, finishing, decks/outdoor spaces, and interior rebuilds) across multiple residential projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers engaged in finishing, tilesetting, plastering, drywall installation, insulating and painting
  • Coordinate and communicate directly with clients and internal team members to ensure smooth operations, schedule adherence and quality control.
  • Lead, mentor and manage carpenters, apprentices and helpers providing guidance, delegating tasks and ensuring safety, productivity and craftsmanship standards. Be responsible for their performance.
  • Read and interpret project drawings and specifications, set up job sites, sequence work, troubleshoot onsite issues, and ensure finishing details meet our high-end benchmarks.
  • Manage budget expectations.
  • Review expenses and time entries.
  • Schedule internal and subcontracted crews.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to maintain standards and minimize rework

Skills & requirements:

  • 7+ professional experience across multiple carpentry all scopes, tile setting, drywall installation, demolition in residential renovation.
  • 5+ previous experience as a supervisor or foreman; experience with high-end finish work, millwork, or design-build projects is required.
  • Ability to lead and supervise crew, coordinating with management, and driving completion of tasks to high standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and a personable, professional manner.
  • Own a reliable vehicle, hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across different job sites in the Lower Mainland.
  • A positive mindset, strong work ethic, attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and commitment to safety.
