Drywall Installer and Finisher

• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Cut and install metal corner beads in order to protect exterior corners
• Using a trowel and broad knife, fill holes, joints, cracks and nail indentations with joint compound
• Allow coat to dry and smooth out excessive compound
• Sand seams and joints, as well as applying successive coats of compound
• Fabricate and install metal ceiling grids, place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings

• Completion of secondary school
• Drywall installer and finisher trade certification is an asset but not compulsory
• Must be willing to travel across Lower Mainland

Job Location:  St, Surrey, BC V3X 1B8 and Various Locations across the Lower Mainland

Wages: $28.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, Full time, Permanent position

Overtime: starts after 40 hours per week
