Bilingual Security Guard (French) – RCMP Surrey HQ

Commissionaires BC is looking for a bilingual security guard to work at the front desk of a high‑profile RCMP building in Surrey. This position requires a RCMP Level 3 clearance, which may take up to or beyond 3 months to be processed. Only applicants who meet the mandatory requirements will be considered.

Position: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–2:30 pm
Wage: $22.45 /hr

• Have lived in Canada for the past 5 years and are either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to obtain required clearances
• A valid BC Security Licence
• Basic First Aid certificate
• Fluent in both French and English
• Provide a high level of customer service to staff and visitors
• Confident with access control and computer administrative duties

Site responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service to staff and visitors as they enter the building
• Access control and data input
• Reception duties including answering phone calls and directing as needed
• Performing interior & exterior patrols
• CCTV monitoring
• Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
• Enforcing and maintaining site security procedures
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible and appropriate manner
• Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of site duties and safety standards
