We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our Vancouver team  ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of sales experience, ideally with proven success selling industrial and commercial products within a B2B environment. This role requires a strong understanding of solution selling, sales margins, product sourcing, pricing, and negotiations. The candidate must demonstrate progressive sales accomplishments and possess strong business acumen with a professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact current customers and identify new products and potential up-selling.
  • Respond to and process incoming calls and orders.
  • Open new accounts.
  • Develop customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls.
  • Enter orders into the system.
  • Maintain knowledge base on current products and learn about new products.
  • Provide pricing quotations and follow up on quotes.
  • Handle credits and debits.
  • Process returns as required.
  • Provide technical support on products.
  • Provide quotations and product information.
  • Troubleshoot logistics and expediting issues.
  • Identify, develop, and close business opportunities.
  • Perform maintenance and update customer accounts including contact names for future sales.
  • Keep up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience.
  • Background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset; product knowledge or industry experience preferred.
  • Experience selling into trade channels, including HVAC contractors, commercial and industrial clients, and residential businesses is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of solution selling versus price.
  • Role includes strong understanding of sales margins, product sourcing, pricing and negotiations.
  • Candidate must have progressive sales accomplishments.
  • Strong business acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
