Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Hospitality Territory Sales and Service Manager covering New Westminster and the surrounding areas. Within our leading industry Institutional division, this outside sales position offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the food service and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long‑term care facilities, and more.

You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programmes that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

• Apply mechanical aptitude to install, repair and maintain ware washing, laundry and dispensing equipment and systems; leverage this service to strengthen customer relationships
• Ensure customers’ facilities are fully operational and teams are properly trained by demonstrating safe equipment use
• Grow sales within an existing territory of food service and hospitality accounts through training, regular and emergency mechanical service and sales demonstrations
• Cold‑call and prospect to secure new accounts, building Ecolab’s brand in the market
• Learn customers’ warewashing systems and devise unique solutions as their expert on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programmes
• Adjust schedule and hours of work to meet customers’ business needs

Weekend coverage for emergencies:
Every 10 weekends

• High school diploma required; post‑secondary education preferred
• 1 + year of outside sales experience
• Willing to be on call during off hours and weekend coverage
• Valid driver’s licence and acceptable motor‑vehicle record
• Ability to travel to the US for training/meetings
• No immigration sponsorship available

• Lifting and carrying (up to 50 lb, regularly)
• Manipulating heavy items, equipment and appliances – at least 50 % of the time
• Bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, working on a ladder – at least 50 % of the time

• Previous business‑to‑business commercial sales experience
• Industry‑related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, pool and spa
• Mechanical problem‑solving experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC or mechanical)

Base salary range: $55,000 – $58,000. The position is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance.
