Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Opportunity at Nakile Home for Special Care
Nakile Home for Special Care, a 48-bed long-term care facility recognized as a healthy workplace, is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. If you have a genuine interest in working with the elderly and thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere, we encourage you to apply.
Positions Available- Casual
- Part-Time
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights)
- Experience in long-term care or a similar environment is considered an asset
- Provide and coordinate resident care within the LPN scope of practice, following Nakile’s mission and values
- Supervise and administer medications and treatments
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents’ health
- Collaborate with residents, co-workers, families, physicians, and the community
- A supportive work environment where teamwork and individual contributions are valued
- Opportunities for continued education
Applicants must be currently registered to practice in Nova Scotia.
