Position Summary: The Full‑Time CNC Operator will contribute to Garaventa Lift's success by fabricating parts and components for final products using metalworking machines. This is a 100% on‑site role in Surrey, BC.

• Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
• Lay out, set up, and operate one or more metalworking machines (shears, power presses, saws, plate rolls, drills, brakes, slitters, punch presses, CNC equipment, hand tools) to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or form metal stock into parts or products
• Operate machines that weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together
• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective action or minor repairs
• Clean or lubricate equipment and replace parts as required

• Previous experience using Amada CNC Brake Press preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specification documents
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring physical stamina
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and commitment to safety
