Working in a steel distribution yard, you will collaborate with Forklift operators to attach chains to cranes for lifting products from containers, trailers, and rail flatbeds. Responsibilities include lifting ends, shifting loads to facilitate forklift access, and general labor duties such as yard cleanup and organization.
Requirements include high attention to detail, awareness of surroundings due to working around heavy machinery, physical ability to be active on your feet all day, and the capability to get in and out of containers. The role involves working in various weather conditions and requires clear English communication skills.
