We’re searching for a Director, National Commercial Sales . Are you searching for new possibilities?
Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Director, National Commercial Sales to be based out of Surrey, BC Head office or Ontario office.
This is a hybrid position.
The director is responsible for leading and overseeing all Small Business Solutions Sales teams across Canada. The Director is expected to be highly proficient with modern sales technologies and comfortable adopting new tools that support performance, insight, and scalability. You will coach and mentor regional leaders, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and represent the organization in key market and industry forums.
This role drives national sales strategy, operational excellence, and business development for commercial small business, ensuring consistent growth and high performance across all regions.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $105,000 to $131,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

This role is accountable for team member engagement, development and recruitment

Why we’ll love You:
3-5 years of commercial lines experience, with proven sales leadership in insurance or related fields
Demonstrated Underwriting and market experience
Proven ability to lead teams, drive business results, and execute organizational objectives
High level of personal and professional integrity; strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience collaborating with business leaders and solving complex problems
Proficient in networking; able to develop and maintain a vast, robust professional network
Level 2 General Insurance License (or equivalent);
Industry designation preferred (CAIB, CIP, CRM, FCIP)
National commercial experience is considered an asset
Willingness to travel nationally as required
