- Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year - or equivalent experience Work site environment
- Outdoors Work setting
- Various locations Tasks
- Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
- Operate heavy equipment
- Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Measure distance, volume, length and weight
- Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS)
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Prepare accident reports
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Perform minor repairs to equipment Work conditions and physical capabilities
