Symbiosis Pediatric Therapy Inc. is a Pediatric Therapy Centre. We provide Behaviour consultancy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and counseling interventions to children with special needs. We strive to enhance the lives of children so they can play and learn at par with their peers.

Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 37.50 hours per week.
Compensation: $40 per hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with clients and their families to set goals that are behaviour focused and are targeted, measurable outcomes.
  • Provide initial and ongoing assessments of the client’s behaviour, needs, and functional abilities
  • Develop and document behaviour intervention plans for children directly related to assessment results and based on industry best practice
  • Provide direct service, consultation, mediation, education and training to client, family, teachers, behaviour interventionists and/or community providers with implementing intervention (clinic, home or community-based)
  • Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based practice.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioural interventions and counselling programs, making adjustments as required to ensure continuous progress toward set objectives.
  • Provide mediation and problem-solving support to families and caregivers to promote positive relationships and improved client outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including assessment reports, progress summaries, intervention notes, and follow-up reports.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of client care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated service delivery.
Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree in counselling, therapy, mental health, psychology or a related discipline
  • One year of related experience
  • Membership with the Behavioural analyst certification board or equivalent will be considered as an asset
  • Required language:
