Overview
Health Safety Environment Specialist
Join a growing team dedicated to creating a safe, compliant, and positive workplace. The EHS Specialist supports safety programs, delivers training, and promotes a proactive safety culture across all operations.
- Monitor compliance with WorkSafeBC, OHS, and company safety standards
- Deliver EHS training (WHMIS, PPE use, etc.) and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee
- Conduct risk and PPE assessments; assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Coordinate return-to-work programs and maintain safety documentation
- Promote environmental stewardship and continuous improvement
- 2+ years of manufacturing or industrial safety experience
- Knowledge of WorkSafeBC and OHS regulations
- CSA Intermediate First Aid (required); NCSO certification an asset
- Diploma/degree in OHS or related field
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
