Job Description

Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking

Examining and assessing economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies

Calculating risks and opportunities for potential and current clients

Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

Looking back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision

Conducting meetings with clients and management throughout the year

Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials

Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios

Working within a dynamic team environment

Requirements

BA, BS, or

B.Com degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)

Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics

At least 2 years experience in a similar role

High proficiency in financial modeling techniques

Strong mathematical and numerical skills

Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions

Excellent research and writing abilities

Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow

Thorough understanding of financial analysis and investment strategy

Interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
