Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As a Securities Administrator
, you will provide critical administrative support to the Sustainable Wealth Management advisory teams and our members by reviewing, prioritizing, and processing work resulting from member meetings within prescribed timelines. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional with 1–3 years of experience in the financial industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about Wealth Management.

This is a Full-time, Temporary role based at our Vancity’s Surrey Central Office and will report directly to the Team Manager, SWM Advisory Admin
. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Providing administrative support to optimize the capacity of Sustainable Wealth Management advisory staff
  • Completing member transactions within prescribed policies and procedures while maintaining regulatory standards
  • Building effective working relationships across Sustainable Wealth Management and Member Services to support an integrated platform
  • Enabling execution of an enhanced, differentiated member experience
  • Identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities to optimize service delivery
  • Upholding compliance and risk mitigation standards in all administrative activities
  • Managing workload effectively to meet deadlines and business needs
  • Supporting Wealth Planners with timely and accurate documentation processing

  • What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Post-secondary education or industry courses such as CSC (Canadian Securities Course) or IFIC is required
  • 1–3 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in administrative or operational roles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and identify critical components
  • Proficiency with technology and financial systems
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships and provide technical guidance

  • Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Previous experience in Wealth Management
  • Familiarity with securities administration processes
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services

    What You’ll Earn:

    The starting hourly rate for this role is $30.69 per hour
    , as per the collective agreement. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
