Supplier Quality Engineer

We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Surrey, B.C. team, reporting to the Director of Quality
. In this role, you’ll be the key link between our suppliers, manufacturing teams, and leadership—driving quality excellence, supplier performance, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships
• Develop and implement our Vendor Management Program and performance metrics
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards (UL, CSA, IPC)
• Lead audits, risk assessments, and quality initiatives (PFMEA, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen)
• Analyze supplier performance, reduce defects, and drive process improvements
• Act as the primary liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement across quality systems and operations

What you bring

• Diploma in a relevant field with hands‑on quality or supply chain experience
• Strong background in Quality Management Systems
  , root‑cause analysis, and QA/QC
• Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Infor Syteline ERP is an asset
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or materials engineering principles
• A growth mindset with leadership potential in a fast‑paced environment
