Job SummaryResponsible for optimizing end-to-end electronics manufacturing operations, including PCBA (SMT/THT), final assembly, testing, and packaging. Drives process efficiency, automation initiatives, capacity planning, and continuous improvement to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize SMT, THT, assembly, testing, and packaging processes
- Perform line balancing, time studies, and workflow optimization
- Improve OEE, throughput, cycle time, and first-pass yield
- Identify and implement automation opportunities (fixtures, robotics, automated test, material flow)
- Support NPI and define efficient production flows
- Develop and improve production layouts
- Analyze scrap, rework, and defect trends
- Establish and monitor KPIs
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing (PCBA + assembly)
- Knowledge of SMT/THT processes and IPC standards
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and automation projects
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel; ERP/MES experience preferred)

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
