Company: KTC Sundune Solutions Inc., a subsidiary of KTC Group. Located in Surrey, BC.

We provide engineering solutions for clients in Wood Processing, Mining, Oil and Gas, and Power Generation and Distribution Projects across Canada and the United States. Our services span project inception to operational support.

• Design electrical drawings including single‑line diagrams, control wiring diagrams; perform power systems studies (short circuit calculation, arc flash study, relay protection).
• Prepare grounding layouts, lighting layouts, conduit and cable tray layouts.
• Develop motor schematics, wiring diagrams, instrumentation and control wiring diagrams.
• Prepare PLC configuration and I/O lists; perform PLC programming and HMI programming.
• Update cost estimates and project schedules.
• Produce bid documents and perform bid evaluations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, contractors, and other disciplines.

• Ten years of experience in electrical and power systems design, project management, and on‑site commissioning for mining, wood industry, oil and gas facilities, renewable energy (pellet plant, OSB plant, mine, oil and gas field, wind farm, solar panel, biomass plant, power utilities).
• Registered professional engineer with EGBC.
• Experience with power transmission, substations, power distribution.
• Knowledge of diesel and gas gensets, VFDs, PLC, HMI, and DCS systems.
• Familiarity with IEEE Color Books, CEC, NEC, NFPA, NAICS, and the BC Building Code.
• Experience using Easy Power, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to provide direction and leadership to engineers and designers.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• No travel restriction to USA.
