Match Box Consulting is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to join our client, an established mid‑tier general contractor based in Surrey
, to lead the full‑cycle delivery of complex heavy civil and infrastructure projects. This role offers end‑to‑end ownership of high‑impact work across transportation, utilities, and public infrastructure, with strong internal support and long‑term growth potential.

Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership for safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance across assigned projects.
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery from startup through commissioning and closeout.
- Manage contractual obligations, project controls, budgets, schedules, and reporting.
- Represent the company in all project‑related matters, including negotiations and stakeholder discussions.
- Oversee subcontract administration, change management, RFIs, and document control.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, safety plans, traffic plans, and quality programs.
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and ensure on‑time execution.
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents on sequencing, logistics, materials, and equipment.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- 5+ years of experience as a Civil Project Manager with a mid‑tier general contractor.
- Proven background delivering heavy civil and infrastructure projects such as bridges, roads, highways, utilities, ports, rail, airport, or water infrastructure.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
- Solid understanding of MMCD and CCDC contract structures.
- Advanced proficiency with project controls and software tools including AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- PMP or P.Eng designation (asset).
- Experience with Heavy Bid estimating software (asset).
- IPD project experience (asset).
