Music Producer

Village Church is seeking a skilled, passionate Music Producer to join our Worship Arts team. This role sits at the centre of creating excellent, authentic, and distraction‑free worship experiences, so people can clearly hear and respond to the Gospel.

The Music Producer oversees all music‑related elements for Sunday services, special events, and creative projects, including track building and arrangement, music direction, developing volunteer musicians, and producing original music for Village Worship. You’ll work closely with the Worship Arts team under the leadership of the Music Director and Senior Pastors.

• Build and arrange all track elements and Ableton sessions for weekly services and special events, ensuring they flow musically and are delivered on time
• Music direct and/or play in Sunday services, rehearsals, and special events
• Train, equip, and support volunteer musicians through workshops, one‑on‑one coaching, and online resources
• Assess, onboard, and develop new volunteer musicians; invest intentionally in younger musicians through Next Generation ministries
• Produce and co‑write original music for Village Worship and creative projects, including videos and social media content
• Manage Ableton Live, Pro Presenter, and Planning Center libraries; build and maintain accurate MIDI lyric triggering
• Curate and refresh Lobby playlists on a regular schedule, including seasonal selections
• Help maintain rehearsal spaces and music equipment
• Lead with excellence, urgency, and a servant heart—pointing everything back to Jesus

• Character consistent with biblical qualifications for church leadership (1 Timothy & Titus)
• An active Village Church member, or willing to become a member

• High‑level musicianship and confident musical leadership
• Advanced proficiency in Ableton Live
• Working knowledge of Pro Presenter and Planning Center

• Creative instincts with the ability to execute from concept to completion
• Proven ability to recruit, train, develop, and motivate volunteer teams
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• $46,800 - $55,120 depending on experience and education
