Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

Match Box Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to join our client, an established and growing general contractor in Surrey, to lead a diverse portfolio of institutional, commercial, light industrial, and multi-family projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from pre-construction through completion
• Manage building envelope restoration and interior renovation projects
• Oversee townhome and mid-rise concrete projects
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement
• Review drawings, scopes, and specifications to ensure project alignment
• Lead client communication and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Negotiate contracts and change orders
• Monitor site progress, safety compliance, and quality control
• Identify risks and proactively resolve complex construction challenges
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction
• Experience across building envelope, tenant improvements, concrete and steel structures, multi-family, new builds, and renovations
• Proven track record managing projects ranging from $100K to $25M
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
• Effective problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred
• PMP or Gold Seal designation considered an asset
• Ability to obtain a criminal record check
