Foreman, Construction, Construction Labor ​/ Trades

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual ready to transition into a foreman role. This long-term position offers significant growth opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, overseeing site management, coordinating with subcontractors, and leading a team of 2-6 people. Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, documenting site activities, and performing hands-on tasks such as cleaning, demolition, framing, and back framing.

This role requires someone with initiative and a strong desire to grow within the company.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage the site effectively.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors.
• Lead and manage a team of 2-6 personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and record manpower.
• Perform Procore documentation and maintain daily logs.
• Open and close site gates daily.
• Engage in hands-on tasks including cleaning, demolition, framing, and back framing.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lead Hand or Foreman in civil, seismic upgrades, or building envelope projects.
• Proficiency in working with tools and performing labor-intensive tasks.
• Level 1 First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Possession of a vehicle.

• Experience running projects valued at $500,000 or more.
• Experience with Procore software.
• Red Seal certification.
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications.
• Skills in carpentry, particularly wood framing and tenant improvement projects.
• First Aid certification beyond Level 1 is advantageous.

Work a standard 8-hour day with potential for overtime. Projects include outdoor work in varying conditions, such as concrete pad installations and classroom renovations. Be prepared for start times that may vary, including a later start time of 10 am to 6 pm for certain projects.

This is a Permanent position based out of Surrey, BC.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Surrey,BC.
