Construction Workers

Overview

J & S Insulation and Rebar Ltd, located at 13507 87 B Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 6V3, is looking for 2 Construction Workers to work in Surrey, BC, and the Lower Mainland.

Duties to be performed by the Construction Workers:

• Select tools, equipment, and construction materials from storage and transport items to the work site.
• Assist and work closely with tradespersons to complete tasks.
• Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site, free of debris.
• Operating various hand and power tools is an asset.
• Assist with placing, tying, and moving rebar across the job site.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and other temporary structures to facilitate the completion of specific tasks.
• Perform other related job duties as required.

Wages: $ 24.00/hr for 40 hours per week

Work setting:
Surrey, BC, and across the Lower Mainland Region

The right candidate s will have the following skills and/or experience:

• Completion of Secondary School is considered an asset.
• Some previous work experience as a construction worker is preferred.
• Ability to:
  • Walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time, and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
  • Communicate in English.
