Early Childhood Educator - IT

• Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum
• Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well-being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills.
• Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
• Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists, as necessary.
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms.
• Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers.
• Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations.
• Strong collaborator and team player.
• Ability to take the initiative in and out of the classroom.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

• BC ECE / IT License.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR.
• Immunization records up to date.
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 45 pounds.
