- Participate in overall product strategy and development requirements to grow sales.
- Manage marketing, communication and sales programs with key vendors and suppliers.
- Participate in inventory turnover, reductions, and availability working with the asset management team.
- Preferred Vendor Buy Program strategy and utilization in conjunction with procurement team.
- Influence product pricing by utilizing market research, Strategic Account data, and SC participation. From this data anticipate volume and facilitate costing of special and customized orders.
- Establish single point of contact with key vendors.
- 5 – 10 years of Bearing, Power Transmission and Material Handling experience, or product management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, sales, marketing related fields or any equivalent related technical degree.
- Sales and marketing experience.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated decision making and leadership abilities.
- Ability to influence others in a positive manner.
- Well organized with attention to details.
- Analytical and problem solving capability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within the region.
- Bilingual in English/French is an asset.
