As a Manager, you’ll lead private enterprise engagements involving assurance, accounting, tax, and advisory work. You’ll work closely with all six Surrey-based Partners and contribute to a dynamic team culture where everyone—from Partners to staff—is on a first-name basis. • Take the lead in managing end-to-end assurance and advisory engagements for privately held businesses, individuals, and not-for-profits—offering a diverse and dynamic experience where you are an integral part of the team. You’ll work directly with clients, helping them navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions.
• Provide strategic tax planning and business advisory services that directly impact your clients’ growth. This isn’t just about compliance—you’ll be part of their success story, shaping financial strategies that maximize opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and other Managers to support mentorship, training, and team‑building initiatives. You’ll gain insights from experienced leaders while helping shape our inclusive, high‑performing culture.
• Contribute to firm‑wide projects and committees (e.g., IT rollouts, performance management systems, social committee) as opportunities arise, supporting improvements in both internal processes and team collaboration.
• Serve as a performance manager for team members, guiding their development and fostering an environment built on teamwork and growth.
• Review and analyze working paper files, financial statements, and tax returns (including T1s, T2s, T3s, T4s/T5s, charity returns, etc.), working across many sectors where each client is different, providing the opportunity to apply fresh thinking and creative problem‑solving on every file.

• CPA designation with at least 2 years of experience in a Manager role in public practice
• Strong technical background in assurance (ASPE and ASNPO) and tax for private enterprises
• Experience reviewing complex files and delivering practical business advice
• A natural leader who enjoys mentoring staff and contributing to team discussions
• Curious, adaptable, and proactive about professional growth and firm contributions
