Responsibilities- Day‑to‑day accounting activities that can include the following, but not limited to:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Invoicing
- Payment processing
- Credit Card Reconciliations
- Month‑end processing
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Walking/Moving Around - 25%
- Sitting - 75%
- Independent Work - 75%
- Task Memorization - 75%
- Changing Priorities/Deadlines - 50%
- Reading/Writing - 50%
- 2–3 years of related accounting experience
- Diploma in accounting is an asset
- Sage 300 (ACCPAC) is an asset
- Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Outlook, Word
- Smartsheets is an asset
- Experience working in a non‑profit environment is an asset
- General knowledge of IT and telephone infrastructure
- English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Self‑motivated, intuitive
- Ability to work well within a diverse team
- Adaptable to changing priorities, tasks and internal conditions
- Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables and interact effectively within cross‑function teams
