As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you will move and collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You will help ensure a quick and easy customer experience and keep the store clean and clutter-free. Flexibility is key, as you may work in different areas of the store to maintain cleanliness of the floor and stockrooms and assist customers with great deals.

• Work with the team to keep the salesfloor runway ready, with continuous merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers at the cashier with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, including operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items, handling bulky or heavy items, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
• Provide a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and returning clothing to the floor.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience by returning clothing to the salesfloor.
• Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program.

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, e.g., set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, and relocate store fixtures.

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Stock and Fulfillment only:
  Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
