Responsibilities- Achieve sales targets month‑over‑month, driving membership growth and ensuring the team meets or exceeds goals for new personal training agreements, client retention, and overall revenue generation.
- Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding, driving sales initiatives, and establishing a smooth transition into the club experience.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers, and Personal Trainers.
- Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and personal trainers, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure all fitness staff maintain the required certifications (CPR, First Aid, trainer credentials).
- Provide constructive, specific feedback to staff on performance strengths and areas for improvement.
- Maintain high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns, managing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Engage members in a friendly, approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and providing helpful responses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper certifications, and implement safety protocols.
- Oversee facility maintenance and cleanliness, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies or unexpected disruptions, providing necessary instructions and updates for safety.
- At least 2 years of management experience; fitness or personal training management preferred.
- 3–4 years of customer service experience.
- Personal Training sales experience highly preferred.
- Strong interest in the fitness industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and vendors.
- Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills at all levels and functions.
- High degree of detail orientation, systematic problem‑solving, and strong time‑management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills.

- Successful background check required.
- CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Valid personal trainer certification required.
- Prior sales experience mandatory.
- Ability to work in a gym setting, moving about club floors and rooms and communicating with employees, members, and guests.
- Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports.
- Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs.

$58,656 – $100,000 USD
