SUMMARY
Incumbents perform advanced civil and traffic engineering reviews that demand a higher level of technical expertise and independent judgment than the Associate level. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating moderately complex engineering projects.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of civil and/or Traffic Engineering design and review experience in land development projects. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust have at time of hire a valid Arizona Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) certificate. Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.
SELECTION PROCESSApplicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview.
