Salary: $52,000 to $58,000 per year
Schedule: Monday through Friday, full time (possible evenings for staff meetings or events)
Location: Surprise, AZ
Where Happy Happens Here Every DayThe Learning Experience in Surprise is seeking a dedicated and experienced Center Director to lead our center and ensure a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for children and families. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a passion for early childhood education, excellent organizational skills, and experience managing a large team.
What You Will Do- Oversee all daily operations of the center, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety standards
- Manage and support a team of 30 or more staff members, including scheduling, training, and professional development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, children, and staff
- Ensure the implementation of The Learning Experience award winning L.E.A.P. Curriculum across all classrooms
- Monitor budgets, enrollment, and center performance metrics
- Lead staff meetings, support classroom operations, and assist with events or special programs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Valid fingerprint card required
- CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers certifications required
- Experience working in a licensed early childhood education center
- Proven experience managing large teams (30+ staff) in an early childhood setting
- Strong leadership, organizational, and scheduling skills
- Excellent decision making, problem solving, and communication abilities
