Installation Technician
SUMMARY
The Dry Utility Construction Inspector is responsible for inspecting all phases of dry utility installations within the public right-of-way (ROW) and public utility easements (PUE) to ensure compliance with approved plans, codes, permits, and standards. This includes monitoring installation activities, verifying quality and safety standards, documenting findings, and coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders. The role also involves recordkeeping, reporting, and supporting project closeout.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED, technical training in construction methods and standards, and three years of experience in construction sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.
