Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Staff Accountant at Hash Kitchen, located in Phoenix, AZ. The Staff Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, including processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with tax preparation. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting internal audits, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax preparation
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Proficiencyಮವಾರ accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
• Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry accounting is an advantage
