About the Role
We are seeking two exceptional PhD scientists to drive innovation in our R&D team. In Scientist cadre, you'll lead research in advanced materials, polymer formulations, and new materials for coating and lamination technologies that translate into commercially viable technical textile products for critical applications.

Responsibilities
Lead independent research projects in polymer/ technical textiles materials development
Develop innovative solutions using advanced materials in textiles/ polymers/ coating/ lamination
Drive patent filings and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Collaborate with production teams to scale up lab innovations till manufacturing
Work with customers and business teams to co-develop application-specific solutions
Mentor junior researchers and contribute to building innovation culture

Qualifications
PhD in Applied Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Technology, or Materials Science
Minimum 5 years post-doctoral research experience in polymer chemistry/ Textile chemistry/ coating/ lamination
Proven track record of translating research into practical applications

Required Skills
Deep knowledge of polymer synthesis, modification, and characterization
Proficiency in analytical techniques (FTIR, NMR, DSC, TGA, SEM, XRD) and must be able to interpret the results

Experience with fiber science and textile chemistry (preferred)
Familiarity with defense, aerospace, automotive, or industrial textile applications (highly preferred)

Preferred Skills
5-8+ publications in peer-reviewed journals as primary/co-author
Patent applications or grants (preferred)
Conference presentations at national/international forums
