This role is ideal for individuals who are excited about  building a fashion brand from the ground up . The selected candidate will gain exposure to multiple aspects of the fashion business including  design development, sourcing, garment production, and e commerce operations.

Candidates who demonstrate strong ownership, dedication to learning, and long term commitment may have the opportunity to  grow into a core team member as the brand expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing women’s wear garments including draping, pleating, sketching, and design development

• Work with different fabrics and understand their fall, texture, and suitability for various silhouettes

• Coordinate sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories from local markets in Surat

• Support garment development and sampling at the manufacturing unit

• Assist in ensuring proper garment fitting and finishing

Operations & E-commerce Support

• Upload products on marketplaces such as Myntra, Ajio and other e-commerce platforms

• Coordinate with photographers and assist in preparing product catalog content

• Maintain basic product data, SKUs, and inventory records

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the manufacturing unit

Ownership & Startup Mindset

• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure timely completion

• Be proactive in learning new skills across design, production, and operations

• Work in a fast-paced startup environment where adaptability and dedication are important
Candidates who are looking to grow with the company for the long term will be preferred

Compensation

• This role is suitable for  fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience  who are looking to gain hands on industry experience.

• Starting stipend: ₹10,000 per month  with strong learning exposure across fashion design, manufacturing, and e-commerce operations.

Qualifications

Expertise in Fashion Design, including an understanding of contemporary trends and traditional aesthetics
Knowledge of Embroidery and proficiency in integrating it into creative and intricate design concepts
Skills in Textiles, including material selection and understanding of fabric characteristics
Ability to ensure perfect Garment Fitting in line with design specifications
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for luxury women’s fashion
Degree in Fashion Design or a relevant field
0 to 1 year Experience in women’s wear design or working with luxury fashion brands is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
