Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Accountant role based on-site in Surat. The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Other responsibilities include reconciling accounts, managing tax filings, and providing support for audits. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Familiarity with the garment or textile industry accounting is required
End-to-end ownership of accounting, bookkeeping, and finalization of accounts
Strong hands-on experience in textile/garment accounting (job-work, inventory, wastage, GST nuances)
Managing GST, TDS, income tax compliance, and statutory audits
Overseeing costing, margin analysis, and variance tracking
Preparing monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow reports
Coordinating with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal stakeholders
Leading and mentoring the accounts team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Improving systems, controls, and processes with a high ownership mindset

What we're looking for
10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in textile / garment / export businesses
Strong understanding of textile accounting practices
Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently
Demonstrated leadership capability to manage and scale a team
High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Hands-on experience with ERP / accounting software (Tally, ERP systems, Excel)
