Role DescriptionWe are looking for a full-time, on-site Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our Surakarta location. The Head Chef will oversee the daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Responsibilities also include ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, maintaining cleanliness and safety within the kitchen, and managing inventory to minimize waste. Additionally, the Head Chef will play a pivotal role in creating new recipes and fostering team development.
Qualifications- Expertise in Culinary Arts, recipe creation, and food preparation techniques
- Leadership and team management skills, including training, supervising, and motivating kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory management, and cost control
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- A passion for food creativity and the ability to design innovative and high-quality dishes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a high‑paced kitchen environment is preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in a senior kitchen role
