This role is responsible for handling the POD process end-to-end and acts as a liaison with internal and external parties to proceed with payment to the Finance team.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position or job scope within the logistics, shipping, or freight industry.
Job Description:
- Receive and verify POD.
- Ensure that all shipment PODs have been collected and that the documents are properly stamped/signed.
- Ensure all ongoing shipment PODs have been completely received and can be used as the basis for billing by the Finance team.
- Follow up on any discrepancies between the POD and supporting documents.
- Synchronize and input documents based on the TMS (Transportation Management System).
- Handle customer inquiries related to POD in accordance with established guidelines.
- Coordinate with vendors/other divisions regarding claims, overnight stays, and others.
- Maintain the confidentiality of company information/data.
- Implement information security policies, procedures, or principles in carrying out duties and responsibilities.
- Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor.
