Our client is an early-stage startup. The mission is to build an intuitive, engaging, and affordable intranet solution. They are seeking a skilled No-Code Developer to serve as the lead builder for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This is a hands‑on development role for a contractor who can translate product requirements into a fully functional web application.

The No-Code Developer will be responsible for architecting, building, and deploying the initial version of our intranet platform. You will work directly with the Founder to interpret user flows, implement design specifications, and ensure the application is stable, scalable, and ready. Your technical expertise will guide decisions regarding platform selection (Bubble vs. Softr), database structure, and third‑party integrations. This role requires a proactive problem‑solver who can work independently, communicate progress clearly, and deliver a high‑quality product within an agreed‑upon timeline.

• Build a responsive, multi‑user web application using Bubble.io or Softr
  , based on final platform selection.
• Develop core features including user authentication, role‑based permissions, content management systems (news/policies), and employee directories.
• Implement a clean, intuitive user interface that aligns with provided wireframes and brand guidelines.
• Integrate external databases (e.g., Airtable, Xano) as the primary data source if utilizing Softr or to extend Bubble functionality.

• Design a scalable data structure that can accommodate future features (e.g., calendar integration, chat, advanced search).
• Set up automated workflows and logic to manage content publishing, user notifications, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure the application is optimized for performance and load times.

• Connect the application with third‑party tools via API or platforms like Zapier/ as required.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs, edge cases, and usability issues.
• Ensure the platform functions seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices.

• Provide clear documentation of the application’s backend structure, workflows, and logic.
• Conduct a knowledge transfer session with the Founder to explain how to manage users, content, and basic administrative functions.

• Proven Track Record: Minimum 2+ years of experience building web applications using Bubble.io or Softr

• Database Proficiency: Strong understanding of database design and management, particularly within Airtable, Xano, or Bubble's native database.
• Logic & Workflows: Ability to architect complex conditional logic and automated workflows to simulate backend functionality.
• UI/UX Sensibility: Keen eye for design detail and ability to implement a polished, professional user interface.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to explain technical decisions in a clear, concise manner to a non‑technical founder.
• Self‑Management: Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage project milestones without direct supervision.

• Experience building internal tools, employee portals, or social/community platforms.
• Familiarity with user authentication protocols and basic data security best practices.
• Experience with API integrations (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, HRIS systems).
• Ability to suggest alternative solutions or features that improve development efficiency or user experience.
