We’re looking for individuals with familiarity in areas such as equity and fixed-income markets, portfolio management, asset allocation, derivatives, valuation methods, financial modeling, risk management, behavioral finance, and macroeconomic influences on markets. You’ll challenge advanced language models on topics such as fundamental and technical analysis, portfolio construction, diversification strategies, market cycles, performance evaluation, and investment research—documenting failure modes so we can strengthen model reasoning and analytical accuracy.

On a typical day, you will engage the model with investment scenarios, analytical questions, and market-based reasoning tasks; verify factual correctness and financial logic; assess the validity of investment reasoning; capture reproducible error traces; and provide structured feedback to improve prompts, evaluation frameworks, and analytical depth. You may also help identify where models oversimplify market behavior or misinterpret financial data.

A background in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience in asset management, brokerage, research, financial planning, or related roles is valuable, and entry-level candidates with foundational knowledge of investments and strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply. Clear, metacognitive communication—explicitly articulating reasoning and decision processes ("showing your work")—is essential.

We offer a pay range of $6 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
