Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Perform takeoff and quantity calculations to determine the amount of materials and labor required for the project.
Analyze project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, to identify potential cost savings and optimize project budgets.
Prepare bids for civil construction projects, including estimating costs, creating bid proposals, and submitting bids to clients.
Work with project managers to track and manage project costs, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction estimating or related field.
Certification in estimating or construction management, such as the Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
