On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1769). This role is On-Demand and schedule may vary by shift availability and store needs.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist with guest needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; direct guests to fulfill, activate, and use services.
• Demonstrate how to use Wallet and other features in the Target App.
• Handle returns following register prompts and work with leaders to resolve guest concerns per Target policies.
• De-escalate situations and recover guest experiences while adhering to policies.
• Provide accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Operate safely in accordance with safety policies, report hazards, and maintain compliance.
• Support guest services such as OPU, Drive-up orders, and related duties with compliance to applicable laws.
• Assist with cash office processes as needed.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology as directed; work independently and with a team.
• Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally; capable of moving merchandise safely.
