Our client is a public technology company in a strong growth phase, and they are looking for a Senior Accountant who wants more than just a close-and-repeat role. This position offers exposure to revenue recognition, technical accounting, SEC reporting, and M&A activity, along with a clear growth path toward Assistant Controller.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and gain visibility across the business while helping ensure the company maintains best-in-class financial reporting and accounting practices.

What You’ll Do
This is a highly visible role with broad exposure across the accounting function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support revenue recognition analysis under ASC 606
- Assist with preparation and review of SEC filings including 10-Qs and 10-Ks
- Research and document technical accounting issues
- Prepare accounting memos for complex transactions
- Participate in M&A accounting, including purchase accounting and integration support
- Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with FP&A, legal, and operational teams on new initiatives
- Support external audit requests and internal control processes
- Contribute to improvements in processes, controls, and reporting
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who enjoys technical accounting and wants to grow into a leadership role.
Qualifications:
- CPA required
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience
- Background in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience or exposure to SEC reporting and public company environments
- Familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and technical accounting issues
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly
Salary: $110-125K
