Shipping and Receiving Associate; Bilingual

Overview

Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate (Forklift Operator) in Sunnyvale, TX to support a promotional products warehouse. You will primarily receive and verify incoming shipments and prepare outgoing orders using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners in an indoor warehouse setting.

$18/hr

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Indoor warehouse; fast-paced; active material movement

Occasional

• 6+ months of recent forklift experience (both stand-up and sit-down) within the last 5 years.
• 6+ months of recent shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse within the last 3 years.
• Experience using RF scanners and/or basic warehouse computer systems for inventory tracking within the last 3 years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory software.

Preferred Qualifications are a plus, not required.

• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience conducting inventory counts or cycle counts.
• Experience working with purchase orders and shipping documentation.
• Prior forklift certification (training may be provided if needed).

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Label, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse using powered equipment.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and update system records.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
• Maintain organized storage areas and follow warehouse safety procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse tasks during shift.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer (E-Verify hiring site).
• Pass a background check.
• Wear closed-toe shoes; additional PPE provided as needed.
