Material Handler II - Electric PALLET JACK PICKER 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

Primary Objective:

Operates electric and manual pallet jack to move material and pallets throughout the warehouse while performing the picking operation.

• 1st: M-F, 5:00am-1:30pm.
• 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm.

• Sit-Down Forklift.
• Electric Pallet Jack.

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.

• Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received.
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves.
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location.

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
