• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes and requesting assistance from site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, loading and receiving zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points, corridors, and other assigned areas; observe for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or hazards, and communicate findings promptly to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed written and/or electronic reports, including incident documentation, patrol activity logs, and customer service interactions, and support investigations by preserving observations and evidence when directed.

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
