Operates various powered industrial trucks to transport product from receiving department to stock shelves.

3rd: M‑F, 7:00 pm‑3:30 pm

• Sit‑Down Forklift
• Stand‑Up/Reach Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

• Picking:
  • Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
  • Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
  • Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Receiving:
  • Operate various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
  • Open crates and inspect product.
  • Apply labels to product according to established procedures.
  • Verify shading of product and place into accurate warehouse location.
• Putaway:
  • Utilize powered industrial equipment to move product into pre‑designated areas within warehouse once received.
  • Key location of product into inventory control system and place product onto shelves.
  • Ensure product is placed into accurate location.
• SPC Check/Pack Checking:
  • Wrap and pack products by hand into boxes for shipping.
  • Label boxes with packing slip.
  • Load boxes into conveyor belt.
  • Verify orders for accuracy.
• General:
  • Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
  • Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Keep area safe, clean, and organized.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience, including a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of sit‑down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills, record‑keeping skills and listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe, conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Performs other related duties as required.
