Java Lead Developer

As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will make an impact by designing and implementing high-quality software solutions using Springboot Microservices and Commerce Full Stack Engineering - Java. You will be a valued member of the development team and work collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders.

• Design and develop robust software applications using Springboot Microservices to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Implement best practices to enhance performance and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Strong proficiency in Springboot Microservices and Java.
• Expertise in Commerce Full Stack Engineering with Java.
• Minimum of 6 years of software development experience.
• Deep understanding of API design, microservices, databases (SQL/No
  
  SQL), and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $102,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
