About the role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and developing high‑performance web applications and scalable services that power key digital experiences. You will be a valued member of our engineering team and work closely with product owners, architects, and cross‑functional partners to deliver modern, resilient solutions.
In this role, you will:- Build full‑stack applications using React.js, Node.js, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML5, and CSS
3. - Develop responsive, optimized front‑end experiences using React, Next.js, and Material UI.
- Design and integrate RESTful and Graph
QL APIs within microservices architectures. - Lead engineering efforts by translating business needs into technical designs and delivering high‑quality code.
- Guide teams through design reviews, code reviews, and best‑practice development.
- Diagnose production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and support architectural decisions.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot.
- Experience building high‑performance microservices architectures.
- Expertise with Cosmos DB, Mongo
DB, and distributed messaging (e.g., Kafka). - Advanced front‑end experience with React, Type Script, Next.js, and Material UI.
- Experience with UI optimization, SSR/CSR, caching, and performance tuning.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure or GCP.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows and troubleshooting build/deployment issues.
- Strong architectural and system‑design skills.
- Experience with enterprise‑scale microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong system‑level thinking and ability to drive architectural improvements.
- Ability to mentor developers and elevate engineering standards across teams.
- Comfort working in fast‑paced environments with complex technical ecosystems.

This role will require an in‑person meet and greet with our Cognizant poc.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or equivalent

Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $55,350 to $82,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
